You can lead a program, serve as a role model for young people, help with a special event, campaign for annual support or be part of a committee working to make the Allentown Y the best it can be! Fall Youth Sports Leagues & Youth Programs
T-Ball (ages 4-7) Children learn the fundamental skills of baseball and have fun doing it. Participants will be instructed by parent volunteer coaches and learn base running, hitting, catching and throwing as well as developing the core values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility. All participants are required to bring their own glove. Players receive a T-shirt, hats, trophy and pizza party. Games and Practices on Saturdays 10:30-12:00.
Soccer (ages 4-15) - Oour soccer program is designed to teach the fundamental skills of soccer through games and practices while learning the value of teamwork. Using the Character Development values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, children will learn skills such as dribbling, kicking, passing, shooting and defense from parent volunteer coaches. Participants will receive a T-shirt, trophy and pizza party. All participants are required to wear shin guards. Games and practices - Alton Park-Saturdays 10:00-12:00.
Clerical
Come and volunteer to help at the Y. You don't need special skills. We have filing, bulk mailing, sorting and data entry. All jobs are important to the Y being available to our community!
