All Sports - Ages 6 to 13
Located at the Allentown YMCA & YWCA

Campers have fun playing a variety of sports including: basketball, frisbee golf, soccer, flag football, floor hockey, swimming and other recreational games. Emphasis is placed on recreation, not competition and follows the guidelines of the YMCA Youth Sport Philosophy.

Supershooters Basketball -Ages 6 to 13

Campers concentrate on skill enhancement. Skill work includes: shooting, dribbling, passing, offensive and defensive manuevers. Skills are also developed in team play.

Supershooters Soccer- Ages 6 to 13

Campers enhance and learn new skills. Skill work includes: passing, dribbling, shooting, offensive and defensive manuevers. Both indoor and outdoor soccer will be played.

Gymnastics -Ages 6 to 13

Campers concentrate on gymnastic skills. Girls and boys will learn progressive skills using the vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise.

Shout, Twist and Jump - Ages 6 to 13

Campers spend the day concentrating on : dance, tumbling and cheerleading. Campers learn and perform cheer and dance routines.

Extreme Sports -Ages 6 to 13

Campers will spend an action-packed week of extreme sports including: rock climbing, miniature golf, laser tag, in-line skating and skateboarding.

E.S.I. (Environment and Science Investigators) -Ages 6 to 13

Campers spend the day having fun while learning about their environment through science experiments and nature projects. Camp includes outdoor activities such as: orienteering, nature walks, stream studies. Campers will also take a field trip to: Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences and Franklin Institute.

Center Stage -Ages 6 to 13

Have a child who loves the spotlight? Children will learn about different performance techniques, perform plays, learn about stage make-up and engage in fun theatrical games. "Actors" also learn about theatre arts from around the world.

Crafty Kids - Ages 6 to 13

Campers spend the day concentrating on arts and crafts fun with our Arts and Crafts Specialist! Projects include painting, beadwork, pottery, drawing, sewing and other creative crafts.

Kid Cuisine -Ages 6 to 13

Campers spend the day creating yummy concoctions and treats in our kitchen. While treats cook, campers swim and have an arts & crafts period. Campers make lunch for parents on Fridays! Let your child make a mess in our kitchen for a change.

Animals Alive -Ages 6 to 12

Does your child love animals? Campers learn about animals and their behavior. Children will visit the Wildlands Conservancy and the Lehigh Valley Zoo for a special learning session. They will take a trip to the Philadelphia Zoo and Camden Aquarium which includes a backstage tour!

Little Scrubs -Age 9 to 15

Does your pre-teen or teen babysit or have an interest in the medical field? Campers become certified by the American Red Cross in Community CPR, First Aid and babysitting courses. Campers also learn water safety skills.
